What About Money?

The Financial Services Authority
Description

Some ideas which went into production for the FSA and their youth-oriented ‘What About Money?’ service. It’s a free and impartial website which offers money-saving information to people aged 16-25.
The ‘Didn’t Bother to Budget Beans’ were handed out on university campuses, playing on the fact that beans on toast is seen as the cheapest meal, and something you’d only eat if you had very little money in the bank at the time.
One piece was a ‘credit card’ with information about the campaign seamlessly inserted.
Another, relating to cheaper ways of travelling, was disguised as a train ticket.
Ideas for the hand-outs were mine, with the help of Martin Zoutendyk. Pitch-winning concept work was the first project my Art Director (Diana Basile) and I worked on.
